Bart Hubbard > This was Joy's resting place for much of the weekend as she recovered from surgery. She was in very high spirits, and a tough cookie to be so active so soon.

Bart Hubbard > During a dinner of shish-kabobs, I reprimanded Katie for avoiding the peppers and onions. So she took some outside with her to eat (and to ditch the food, Joy and I agreed). But I watched her like a hawk and so she had to eat it. Ha!

Bart Hubbard > Chris cleaning the grates after another successful grilling adventure.

Bart Hubbard > Katie enjoyed the grilled pineapple a lot.

Bart Hubbard > Fred would approach when I got down on his level. A few times he leaned into my hand so hard when I petted him that he fell over.

Bart Hubbard > Katie is groggy from sleep, and the bacon entrances her.

Bart Hubbard > Fred walks away from George after a tussle.

Bart Hubbard > We had our Memorial Day chili dogs out on the deck. Macon and I washed them down with Mountain Dew Flashback (tm).

Bart Hubbard > Katie shows us how the boys in high school wear their pants.
