During a dinner of shish-kabobs, I reprimanded Katie for avoiding the peppers and onions. So she took some outside with her to eat (and to ditch the food, Joy and I agreed). But I watched her like a hawk and so she had to eat it. Ha!

I visited the Gambills in Winston-Salem, NC for Memorial Day.

Bart Hubbard > This was Joy's resting place for much of the weekend as she recovered from surgery. She was in very high spirits, and a tough cookie to be so active so soon.

Bart Hubbard > We had our Memorial Day chili dogs out on the deck. Macon and I washed them down with Mountain Dew Flashback (tm).
